We would like to invite your group to come and volunteer any morning at the Gleaners.  The Ontario Christian Gleaners operates Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 12:00pm.  The Gleaners have had many different groups come out to volunteer including: seniors and church groups, high school co-ops, students on PA days and neighbourhood friends. 

Groups interested in volunteering are asked to please contact the manager in advance to plan your Gleaning event.  We also ask that groups coming to volunteer bring something to share at coffeebreak - cookies, squares, muffins etc

Volunteers at the Gleaners must be high school aged or older to work in the processing room and warehouse.  Our building is designed with in-floor heating and we also have stools available to make your volunteer experience comfortable.   Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.  (No sandals or flip-flops.) 

Throughout the year, several weeks are set aside to mix and bag soup.  Students in Grades 7 & 8 are welcome to join us on these weeks.  Please contact the manager­ to find out when these weeks are scheduled.
